The Pelican Lodge is situated on a half acre in a private and peaceful forest setting. The conversational living room layout has plenty of seating to play family games or enjoy a movie night on the 55" Smart TV. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal and serve it on the gorgeous custom-built dining table. Kitchen comes with several small appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, filtered water cooler and coffee station. Additional dining space also available on the deck. The Master bedroom has a queen bed with Smart TV and private deck access to bistro seating to enjoy your morning coffee. Second bedroom has a queen bed, 1 raised twin bed (bunk style over washer and dryer) and Wii gaming system great for the kids. The 4-piece bathroom features a jetted tub with shower. Throughout the home you will find many custom cottage furnishings built by The Cottage Depot that really define this home along with tasteful lodge decor. There is a Wood Stove available (Sept to April) and Air Conditioning in the summer for your added comfort. Outside there is a high powered hot tub (seats 6), dining area, stainless steel BBQ and additional seating to enjoy nature and friends. A rocked space includes a brick bonfire pit along with over-sized chair seating to capture lasting campfire memories. Magnificent lake-front sunsets await you only a short 5 min walk away. Our property follows Airbnb's cleaning protocol to ensure the home is vigorously cleaned and disinfected. For guests with infants, we have a high chair, booster seat, playpen and electrical outlet covers available upon request. Our cottage has a no-pet, no-party and no-smoking policy. The whole cabin is available for use. The wood stove is only available from September to April and requires pre-approval for insurance reasons. We are excited to host you! Less than a 300 metre or 5 min walk to the lake with a stunning sunset vista, children's playground, volleyball court, picnic tables and water/swimming access. You can even launch a kayak, paddleboard or fish off the rocks at this waterfront park. Our cottage is in the populated area of Belair with lots of cabin-lined roads to take a stroll on or explore by bike. It’s about a 10 minute drive to 5 major beaches (Victoria Beach, Hillside Beach, Lester Beach, Alberta Beach and Wanasing Beach); 10 min drive to 3 grocery stores and restaurants; 10 min drive to Grand Pines Golf Course; Two boat launches within 8 min drive; Hundreds of km's of ATV Trails; 20 min drive to Grand Beach; and 25 minutes to South Beach Casino. In the winter, enjoy snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice-fishing. Two pairs of snow shoes are provided (additional pairs can be requested based on availability). Our nightly rate is for the first 4 guests. Additional guests can be added for $10/night (before service fees). Wood Stove is available for use from September to April.
