Look no further! This quaint BnB is the perfect destination for your stay in the charming town of Madisonville, LA. Located just 45 minutes away from New Orleans and one block off of the beautiful Tchefuncte riverfront, you can walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops, retail stores, boating, festivals and more. This guest suite is located on the back side of our main house, but guests will enjoy complete privacy equipped with their own separate entrance. Come relax at "Blue Dog BnB" :) There are two bedrooms located upstairs, each with a queen size bed, that are connected by a large jack and jill bathroom. Enjoy a lovely French Quarter style balcony off of one of the bedrooms, looking over a private courtyard that you have full access to. Downstairs, make yourself at home in the living area which is equipped with only a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig. The mini fridge is stocked with water and juices, and a light grab-and-go style breakfast is provided with serveware, drinking glasses and utensils. In the courtyard, a gas grill is also available for use. We can offer a queen size air mattress with proper bedding to accommodate two additional guests for an added fee per person (bringing the total to 6 guests max). For parties of 6, please inquire for details. **Brides/Grooms/Photographers/Etc.- If you would like to use this space for photoshoots and/or getting ready for day-of events, special rules and up-charges will apply. Please message host for more details prior to booking. Off-street parking for two cars only is available in our driveway near the back of the house. This is also where you'll find the private side entrance door equipped with a lock box for gaining entry. Guests will have full access to the courtyard and carriage house, which is separate from our main home by one door that we will keep locked. Additional parking is available on the street and in front of the neighboring park. Please do not hesitate to call or text with any questions or requests. This home is located in the historic district of Madisonville. Enjoy the allure of quaint cottage style homes surrounded by majestic oak trees. We are located one block away from the Tchefuncte River, which is perfect for nature lovers who enjoy an afternoon stroll along the waterfront, and are also in very close proximity to two parks (the nearest has a playground for kids). This is the ideal spot for festival-goers! Town of Madisonville Occupational License - (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The area is very walkable, but for those who'd like a quicker option, we have 2 bikes available. Please let us know if you'd like to use them prior to arrival. OTHER PROVISIONS: -Fresh towels and extra linens, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, and other toiletry items. -Hulu and Netflix on each bedroom TV. -Two bikes are available upon request. PETS: -Please note that we have two dogs who will stay in the main residence but will occasionally be in the front yard. We have a Labrador Retriever named Blue and a Bloodhound named Cooper. They are great with other dogs, both big and small. -Absolutely NO pets on the furniture. Our cleaning service charges extra if excessive pet hair is found on the couch and beds, and guests will be responsible for this potential upcharge. -Please do not leave your pet(s) unattended or free to roam the house if they are prone to climbing on or chewing furniture. -We allow up to two pets per stay. -Pet fee to be charged upon booking.
