A gem of an apartment, AC, fully equipped kitchen, pillow top bed, loft with single bed, private bathroom, large patio with BBQ, sits on the river, 5 minute walk to the beach. A place by the sea and on the river, a hub for water taxis to other beaches. Close enough to feel connected yet far enough away to feel adventurous. Fishing, snorkeling, diving, hiking, zip-lining and horseback riding, Beach is 5 minute walk. Jungle Bungalow is a cozy little house with a spacious kitchen, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and blender, pantry, private bath and laundry room. Utensils, pots, pans, dishes all provided as is various herbs and spices, oils and vinagars, sugar, coffee, flour, etc. Queen pillow-top bed in an alcove off the living room and a loft accessible by ladder to the single bed overlooking the living room and kitchen. Large arched windows look out onto the spacious patio and the surrounding mountain views. The Horcones River flows past the house to the sea and the beach is a 5-minute walk. We have the best location in Boca, on the cool side of the river and the start of the best beach and jungle hike in Vallarta. Buses come every 10 minutes and is aa 25 minute ride to downtown. Gated and surrounded by jungle plants, the Horcones Rivers flows to the sea, guests have keys to the gate and laundry room. Common areas include the large patio with outdoor BBQ and cooking area. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, we respect the need for social distancing. We are usually home, upstairs and can answer any questions you may have about tours, where to go, what you should see and visit. Boca de Tomatlan is an authentic little fishing village that is totally self sufficient except an ATM. Get your pesos in Puerto Vallarta!! We do have grocery stores, liquor stores, butcher shop, restaurants and even beach wear and supplies. But we are enough off the beaten path that you get a true Mexican experience, which also means some noise at times from dogs and roosters. The people are friendly, the water is warm, and beach restaurants where your feet rests on the sand are plentiful, inexpensive and relaxing. Buses come every 10 minutes and cost almost nothing. Cabs are parked close by and Uber is available with a simple call. Hiking and walking are part of the experience, the jungle is lush, the beaches gorgeous and water taxis take you to beach towns further south such as Las Animas, Yelapa and Quimixto. The Botanical Gardens is a 15 minute ride south by bus and has been designated an International Garden for its vast landscapes, plants, orchids, cacti, river hike and fabulous restaurant. El Tuito is 35 minutes south, a old historic cattle town and from there, you can head to a 10 mile beach called Mayto on Tejuamixtla Bay for a day or stay the night at a small family owned hotel. Stop at the oyster restaurants on your way back, the sight of aqua water, boulders, coral and sandy beach should not be missed. Decorated in the colors of mexico, art and books we have 3 spaces available, the Bungalow, the Hidaway (small 2-person apartment) and Periquitos (a 2nd story apartment with balcony overlooking the river and garden). All apartments have patios. Mexican town where chickens and dogs run free and occasional parties along the river. It's on the ground floor with large patios overlooking the garden. The apartment has a small balcony overlooking the garden and the river and catches a nice breeze and has ceiling fans. Both spaces have kitchens and private bathrooms. As a whole, it is a perfect place for small group vacations. Activities here included snorkeling, fishing, hiking, zip-lining, waterfalls, kayaking, day trips to other towns, it's close to downtown and cabs, ubers, buses and even water taxis are cheap and readily available.
