Our Ocean Sands RV camper provides a turn key camping experience For its guests. Included with your stay are fire pits, fire wood, power, water and sewer. Sun decks and a full size BBQ and propane are all included with your stay. We also have over 100 acres for you to explore and 2500ft of ocean front with breathtaking vistas from our waters edge cliffs or walk right onto our beach for Kayaking and paddle boat available for rent at $10/use. Guests can use the entire RV space and the 100 acres in which the RV sits on. Our summer home is also located on the same property and we are usually around, but far enough away to give our guests full privacy during their stay. The RV Trailers are parked a couple steps away from 2500 feet of ocean front for you to explore, swim, kayak and sunbathe. Our property is 75% vacant land and 75% mature forests. Pic Nic areas with oversized 12ft long pic nic tables are placed along the ocean front so guests can have an unforgettable gathering with friends and family. 100+ ft high cliffs overlooking the water as well as easy access walk to the beach and kayaks launch site. Come check out this one of a kind property! Guests will have to do their laundry in Tatamagouche at the laundromat. We are always up for meeting and interacting with our guests and telling them about all that they can experience in the area. 5 minute drive to Rushton’s beach. 10 minute drive to Balmoral Grist Mill, Tatamagouche Brewery, Train Station Inn and Resturaunt, Caldera Distillery, Creamery Square in Tatamagouche, Big Al’s Restuarant. 30 minute drive to Pictou, Truro, and Wallace, Fox harbr golf resort, Jost winery. Car, SUV, truck, motorcycle is required for getting around Guests with children will be asked to check in with host upon arrival to review potential dangers on the property that exist. (ie: 100ft cliffs on waters edge with extremely sharp drop to waters edge) Please review the following before booking, as guests with children will be asked to acknowledge the following guidelines upon arrival. Definition of child or youth being any person younger than the age of 12. 1. No Children or youth are allowed behind the RVs due to the electrical, water and sewer hookups. 2. No children are allowed on the cliffs or on the beach unless they are supervised by an adult or parent over the age of 18. 3. The water supplied to the campers is not meant for drinking. Please bring your own drinking water. The RVs are winterized every year with antifreeze in the lines and plumbing, although we clean the fresh water lines thoroughly before use there could still be trace amounts of harmful antifreeze residue. 4. Noise curfew is 10pm 5. Please do not attempt to repair or replace any problem or issue with the RVs, just call your host that is what we are here for. 6. There is an old abandoned stairway from the cliffs down to the beach. This stairway is rotted and dangerous ans is strictly off limits to everyone. If you want to go to the beach please use the mowed walking path down to the ocean. 7. Camp fires are only permitted if the Nova Scotia Burnsafe site indicates that your fire is permitted.
