We are just down the road from the trailhead to Packwood Lake and walking distance to amenities in town. The fire pit and charcoal grill in the backyard are perfect for evenings of BBQ'ing and making s'mores! The stairs in this historic home are steeper than new construction. The grounds, and the trails through the forest on the Packwood Station property are all yours to enjoy. Owners, Dean and Tracy, live here in Packwood and are usually available if guests have questions or in case of emergency. Tracy is fluent in American Sign Language. Packwood is uniquely located in the Big Bottom Valley between Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens and Mt Adams. We are a very special area nestled in between the Goat Rocks Wilderness, Tatoosh Wilderness, William O Douglas Wilderness and Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
