How convenient! We are 4 blocks N. of Broadway St. which has everything you need for your stay as well as shopping, movie theatre, etc. The boardwalk along beautiful Arrow Lakes and a gorgeous sandy beach are just beyond! By Car: Calgary: 6 hours 30 mins Vancouver: 7 hours 30 mins Kelowna: 3 hours 45 mins Revelstoke: 2 hours Nelson & Castlegar: 1.75 hours Spokane, Washington (allow time for border crossing): 6 hours By Bus: Greyhound buses go to Revelstoke, Castlegar and Nelson (all approximately 2 hours from Nakusp), from which you would need to make additional travel plans to reach Nakusp. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is also a BC Transit bus that travels between Nelson and Nakusp. By Air: The nearest commercial airports are Castlegar Airport and Kelowna International Airport. Both have car rental services available. We are on a residential/main road, in a school zone, that leads to the main "strip" of Nakusp as well as toward the Galena/Shelter Bay ferry heading to Revelstoke. This means that during peak tourist season you will hear some extra action during the day. Evenings and nighttime are quiet. Please make sure not to park on the neighbours side of the fence or block the alley. There is plenty of room for a few cars in our driveway.
