Curious Cabin

Curious Cabin is in the heart of one of the finest wilderness locations in British Columbia. Situated in a private corner of Curious Farm, it is close to the ferry, Gorge Harbour Marina, numerous great beaches, and a variety of hikes. The cabin is clean and recently decorated. There is a functional, well-equipped kitchen, private deck space, and a great bathroom. The cabin sleeps 2 people in a romantic loft space. You can drive right up to the cabin, but it is also an easy walk from a main parking area. (Please note - the steep ladder to the loft is NOT suitable for those with mobility problems - or very young children.) The cabin is located on Curious Farm and we are always busy with growing produce and tending animals. We enjoy interacting with guests, but you can also be completely private when you want to be. There's a private deck and lots of spots to roll out a blanket and enjoy the tranquility. Whaletown provides easy access to many local attractions. Gorge Harbour Marina has a shop, boating facilities, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards for rent, and a great restaurant (which we supply with produce). In the summer, there is a local craft fair and farmer's market, as well as daily yoga sessions overlooking the Gorge. The pristine Carrington Bay is a short hike away, as well as Whaletown Commons. There are many other walks, lakes and beaches a short drive away. The cabin is supplied with potable (double filters and UV treated water). (Please note that the sleeping loft and stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.)
