The area is largely made up of villas housing expats and is quite tranquil. The villa is located on a hilltop overlooking Orient Bay; a 2-kilometer beach facing the Atlantic Ocean with white sand, palm trees and turqoise water. The villa also overlooks the green central mountains, and the large salt pond between Orient Beach and the mountains. Access for motorists: The neighborhood is a scenic 40-minute drive from Princess Juliana International Airport. The capital of the French side, Marigot, is a 20-minute drive away. Grand Case, with plenty of restaurants and nightlife, is 5 minutes away via car. Security: The neighborhood is largely made up of villas housing expats. Security is excellent, with the access road to the neighborhood barriered and guarded at night. Restaurants: Several restaurants, ranging from upscale modern to local cuisine, are located in the area. Many beach bars on orient bay (5mn walk).
