Located in San Agustin de Etla, Villa Loohvana offers spacious rooms with amazing views of the Valley of Oaxaca. Surrounded on all sides by mountains, the Villa is nestled in an emerging arts village full of makers, growers, craftspeople, locals, ex-pats and explorers. Michelle, the owner and hostess of Villa Loohvana, was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and has lived all over the world before settling here and designing her Villa and garden, which she invites you to enjoy. To accommodate large groups, we offer you all the rooms of the Villa. Three private, very large rooms, each with their own full bathroom, which in total can sleep up to 12 people. Villa Loohvana offers special opportunities for groups such as hosting meals, parties, reunions, workshops, and other events and activities. We also offer the option of arranging transportation for you and your guests to accommodate your group or team to and from the airport in Oaxaca, as well as to various outings in and around the Villa - such as archeological sites like Monte Albon, markets in neighboring villages and cities, hiking trails, restaurants, swimming pools, the Arts Center, or other day trips of interest. Aside from their rooms, there's many common areas that the guests have access to. The upstairs libraries and living room, the terraces, and the gardens. We serve a small, personal breakfast of fresh fruit and coffee every morning, made fresh for you at your choice of time between 9am - 12pm. San Agustín de Etla is an arts and artisans centric village in the mountains of Oaxaca, 20km outside of Oaxaca city center. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, San Agustín is full of restaurants, cafes, bodegas, shops, and any service or convenience you may need (such as dentists or physical therapists), artists studios (for making ceramics or paper) and the Arts Center, a restored Textile Mill at the top of Indepencia, the street on which Villa Loohvana sits. You can walk to all the cafes, restaurants, and main attractions here, including the beautiful Arts Center and Gallery, which also offers a gorgeous courtyard for viewing the mountains.
