TIDEAWAY BEACH HOUSE
Located directly on the stunning Brudenell River in eastern Prince Edward Island you will enjoy the tranquility of “Tideaway Beach House” – a beautiful two story waterfront chalet. The chalet sleeps 6 adults, is fully air conditioned with WIFI and TV. This beautiful chalet features 3 bedrooms (2 king beds), 1.5 baths, and kitchen marble countertops/stainless appliances. A screened in porch with full BBQ and futon for an afternoon nap in the breeze, or enjoy watching the boats on the river. Conveniently located, Tideaway Beach House is only a 2 minute drive to both Georgetown and two world renowned golf courses Brudenell River & Dundarave Golf Courses, both of which have previously hosted professional golf tournaments and skins games. In addition to the river beach, beach lovers will appreciate the proximity to Basin Head Beach (voted number 1 beach in Canada – a quick 30 minute drive northeast) or Panmure Island Beach (25 minutes to the south). Of course, there are literally dozens of beautiful beaches on PEI that are worth visiting, all within a comfortable driving distance. Also a close 25 minute drive is the incredible national park at Greenwich offering walking trails and world class sand dune beaches, and further west the national park at Cavendish, both great day trips during your stay! Again for golf lovers, the Links at Crowbush Cove (ranked top 10 in Canada), Glasgow Hills, Fox Meadow and Eagles Glenn are other local favorites that are well worth a visit. Besides beaches and golf, nearby attractions also include Brudenell Provincial Park, Kings Castle Provincial Park, deep sea fishing excursions, clam digging right below the cottage, nearby boating and kayak rentals, horse back riding, ceilidhs, and so much more! Historic Georgetown also features live theatre, music, dance and children’s programs at the Kings Playhouse – one of Canada’s longest-running theatres as well as artisan shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a wider range of shopping and related activities, the capital city of Charlottetown is a quick 30 minute trip. For a wider local selection of amenities, restaurants, groceries, pharmacies and liquor store, the town of Montague is just a convenient 10 minute drive away. Immediately across the driveway is the famous Confederation Trail, an Island long biking and hiking trail built on the former CN rail road route.
