The “Balneario de Cerro Gordo” is just a 3 min drive+you can enjoy many other gorgeous beaches near Vega Alta and all around the Island. Basically you’re between the city (40 min drive from the Luis Muñoz Marin Intl Airport, San Juan) and the Puerto Rican country lifestyle. Wether you’re staying with all the family, enjoying with your partner or having some fun with your friends, Casa Cayalá is just perfect, it’s Casa “Paradise”. What else can you ask for?... The property is located in a private/gated, small community, so we do have neighbors. Actually we appreciate them very much, and they appreciate us. So it is important for us that you help us maintain that good relationship. (Keep the volume down.) If you’re planning on traveling around our municipality and/or exploring the Island, we do recommend renting a car. (As our public transportation system is not appropriate for that goal.) Among some of the many “things to do” near Casa Cayalá you can enjoy a mountain bike trail near Cerro Gordo Beach, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, and visiting some of our favorite beaches like: (besides the Balneario de Cerro Gordo) Puerto Nuevo Beach (Vega Baja), Dorado beautiful beaches and Mar Chiquita (Manatí). If the sea it’s not your thing then you have many other activities from cultural to dining to shopping + MUCH MORE, you decide! And guess what? Don’t feel like going out? Then you don’t have to… the house is perfect and with everything* you’ll need so that you don’t have to worry! You’ll be able to enjoy some fun outdoor/indoor games (like giant jenga), have some s’mores by the fire pit, cooke some bbq, enjoy a movie night by the stars and relax in the pool! *Please read thoroughly the amenities section and notice we do not have pool/jacuzzi water heater.
