If there is a resurgence of the COVID-19 virus or a similar pandemic that closes the Belizean borders and thereby prevents our guests access to Caye Caulker, then a 100% refund will be issued less our $100 booking Fee. Barbara's Beach House (The Pink House) is the second building behind Laura's Lookout and Sandy's Secret (The Blue House) and the Palmetto Garden Cottage is below Barbara's. Located at the West End of our private pool, Barbara's is a three bedroom house, situated perfectly to ensure that you can enjoy the best that our quiet secluded lot has to offer while still having easy access to the airstrip or the main town of Caye Caulker which is just a 5-10 minute bike ride or a 10-15 minute walk away. The interior of Barbara's has a traditional island feel, built throughout with the beautiful hardwoods that Belize is known for. Floors, ceiling and furniture all reflect this craftsmanship, a perfect compliment to the palm trees and sun outside your door. The layout works for either a family or a group of friends and has two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath downstairs; a more private Master Suite upstairs, with two twin beds that convert into a king if you prefer, again with its own full bath. All beds have pillow top mattress pads and super comfy the sheets are 400 thread count, and the towels and beach towels are plentiful, thick and lush. If needed, there are additional mattresses for those who would prefer not to share beds. Each room has its own air conditioner, complete with a remote control. The living area features an open floor plan that includes a modern kitchen, supplied with any appliance you may need, there is washing machine and clothesline and access to a dryer if the weather is not cooperating. The dining area and lounge area has a flat screen TV, movie library, wi-fi and games. As you exit the house, passing by the front deck that features ocean views and both hammocks and chairs to relax in, you go down a few short steps, running right into the pool. Available only to our guests. There are a variety of floating devices for you to relax on and the pool is sunken into a wooden deck that includes original palm trees to the lot and multiple chaises for sunbathing. Turning right, away from the house, you encounter our beach area that juts out into the sea a great place to relax and catch the sun, it continues straight on into our 300 foot dock. With three separate entrances to the water below, there is room to dock a boat (useful for snorkeling trips or an adventure to the mainland of Belize), 6 pods extending outward for more room and a palapa at the end of the dock if you require shade. You would be hard pressed to find a better place on the island to relax or watch the sunrise over the world famous reef, barely a mile away!! Barbara's, as well as all our properties, was built with safety in mind. Featuring protection on all first floor windows, there is only one entrance to the house, equipped with an alarm. In addition, we have an on-site 24 hour security guard. Our office is open every day from 9:00am until 5:00pm, so there is always someone to help with whatever you may need. Bikes are available to rent at us $5.00 per bike, per day.
