ShantyStay Accommodations-Sleeping Cabin (B)

Our sleeping cabins resemble lobster bait shacks similar to what you’ll see in PEI’s many fishing harbours. They were lovingly handcrafted using Island white Cedar. They are rustic but cozy, comfortable yet basic. Located in a village setting close to all amenities, the Confederation Trail and Iles de la Madeleine Ferry Terminal(CTMA). Souris beach is a 15 minute walk and other famous beaches are a close drive (Website hidden by Airbnb) Our cabins measure 12 x 12ft and include a double bed with duvet bedding, bath area with shower, mini fridge and two chairs. They are insulated, heated electrically and cooled only by an oscillating fan and two screened windows that allow the ocean breeze to flow through. A cathedral ceiling makes them feel airy and spacious. There is no TV. Wifi in common area. Storage is limited. No breakfast is served and cooking is not possible inside but there are options within walking distance. There are outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas for outdoor dining Souris is a small but quaint fishing village by the Ocean. Route #2 passes through Souris as Main Street and continues East to East Point. The Souris Beach/Park is located at the beginning of the Town offering Seafood, shopping and paddle boards/bike rentals.
