East River is a small community that is blessed with 2 beaches, beautiful views of the Mahone Bay with plenty of sea birds sightings, fishermens lobster boats and sail boats. The odd time you might see a seal floating by. We are on the Aspotogan Peninsula HWY 329. A very well known bicycle route that offers sweeping ocean views with small fishing villages dotted along the 329 Lighthouse route. We have a beautiful trail system linking communities from Lunenburg to Halifax. An old CN railway that has been converted for the use of hikers, cyclists and ATV users. Chester Connection Trail and Aspotogan Trail heads, are located in East River where the 329 hwy meets the 3 hwy. Bayswater Provincial Park and Beach is half way around the peninsula. A must to visit and enjoy. Bed linens, bathroom linens, body wash, shampoo, cream rinse and miscellaneous bathroom items, ( should you forget something) supplied. Beach items, are also available. Chairs, umbrella, sand toys, coolers and beach towels on site. For young families we offer: playpen, high chair and little tykes bed. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets. All children under the age of 18 are welcome and are included in the rate with parents. Any adults after the regular 2 adults are charged 20$ per night extra. example: 3 children and two adults, reserve for two adults and mention in your email the children accompanying if reserving for 4 adults, then 2 adults will pay 20$ extra a night each.
