The Retreat at Nail Bay houses two stunning one bedroom apartments; Sea La Vie and Umpires Nest. Leesa will advise you about transfers from and to the airport or dock as well as the orientation of the property and its surroundings. You can plan pre-arrival provisioning so you have your essentials from the moment you arrive. Taxi's, Car hire, Excursions, Activities, Table bookings or perhaps a private chef? All can be arranged prior to or when you arrive. Traveling light? We can organise to have your toiletries waiting for you, including reef safe, organic sun screens by Coola and organic shower products made in the BVI by Sageroots and The EC Soap co. All you need is your carry on! The Retreat, is adjacent to the new Nail Bay Sports Club and Sugarcane restaurant. Lush Gardens surround the apartments and views from every room and terrace look to the Sir Frances Drake Channel and neighbouring British Virgin Islands. There are 2 beautiful beaches within 250 yards, the closest being Mountain Trunk, where you can snorkel stunning coral reefs, Kayak, Paddle board or just soak up the warm sunshine. Perhaps take a hamper and beach chairs late in the afternoon and enjoy the spectacular BVI sunset! Tortola (EIS) is the main airport in the BVI. From there it is a short ferry journey to Virgin Gorda, followed by a ten minute drive from the ferry dock to Nail Bay. Virgin Gorda also has its’ own smaller airport (VIG), this is just a ten minute drive from Nail Bay. St Thomas airport (STT) in the USVI can also be a slightly longer but cost effective way of getting to us. While you are staying on Virgin Gorda having a car is a fun way to explore the island, but you can also rely on taxis to get around. We have two resident dogs who live in our family apartment which has a separate entrance to the guests accommodation. If you are a dog fan please let us know and we can introduce you, if not don’t worry they won’t bother you!
