Ahhhh Relaxing!!!(& Most Comfortable Bed EVER!!!)

My place is great 4 couples, solo adventurers, travelers, & families. Visit ur student's school: 1.5 miles from Md, Catholic & Gallaudet Univ, National Arboretum, Veterans/Medstar/Providence/Howard Univ Hospitals. @ my corner: metro 82/83/84, Grab a cup of coffee on the way to work(711 right across the street), nailery, grocery, neighborhood social life, walk 2 & fr rest/cafes/lounges & parks. Outdoor deck ambiance, environment good 4 students. Guests say, "extremely comfortable bed". DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO A WELCOMING CLEAN ATTRACTIVE, RELAXING BEDROOM AND BATH WITH SIMILAR TO HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS ONLY..... People who have enjoyed this private room: international students, interns, a mother and her daughter visiting a college, young ladies from Germany, and many more.......... The room is colorful and bright, lots of windows/ curtains. Guest all say, "GREAT BED...." Ample closet space, free wifi, smart and cable tv, a/c, lots of windows, towels, toiletries and peaceful. You do have a microwave and frigerator right next to your room for convenience. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and 711 is di- rectly across the street. THE HOUSE IS A big 100 yr old renovated charming house, kinda artsy, 3 floors, airy, open and welcoming. Big enclosed front porch and back deck to relax in the evening after a long day. Relaxed environment... We are only four stations stops from downtown - best thing to do is to buy the weekly or monthly pass. BUT AGAIN, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR BATH AND BEDROOM ONLY UNTIL SAFETY IS RESOLVED. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, AND FOR YOUR SAFETY, GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO A WELCOMING CLEAN ATTRACTIVE, RELAXING BEDROOM AND BATH WITH SIMILAR TO HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS ONLY. When guests arrive, if I am here, I will escort you to your room. Otherwise, you will access the 2nd floor and bedroom via key and lock box. Room will be labeled, room 201. Do you have COVID? 2. Have you within the last week been around someone diagnosed with COVID? 3. Have you been tested within the last 2 wks and do you have proof? As u arrive , I have a COVID Protocol. -- sanitizing of hands, I expect you to cleanse ur hands everytime you enter. I have a hand sanitizer at entrance, -- If I am here, I will take your temperature, if I am not here I will meet with you and take ur temp later. if ur temp is above normal, I will request you get tested immediately and provide proof of testing within 24hrs. If you are not able to provide proof of immed. testing and negative results, I will contact airbnb and ask you to leave. Within 48 hrs I will request ur results, if you have COVID you will have to leave and find other accommodations. I am not equipped to manage COVID. I will contact airbnb to let them know. -- I ask for a copy of your COVID vaccine doc. -- I welcome you. This and more is my effort to keep us all safe. Pricing Discount: - There is a monthly 10% discount EXCEPT for local DC/Md/Va residents. (local residents are fully aware of the local high cost of living. My place is more than reasonable.) Cleaning Fees: include disinfecting and sanitizing bathroom and common spaces and common items like hallways, floor- ing, walls, handles/knobs and refrigerator/microwave. Other- wise I will supply some disenfecting wipes in ur room. But you should any additional cleaning supplies for your own bed- room and bath to suit ur C19 comfort. There is a cleaning fee of $250. Guests who stay here for 4 weeks or less, the cleaning fee i (Website hidden by Airbnb) = $ 250. There is an additional $25 for any week past 4. That means, if you stay for 1 day past 4wks, the 5th week rule would apply and your cleaning fee is = $ 275 (Website hidden by Airbnb) if you stay 1 day past 6 weeks, your cleaning fee is = $ 300 (Website hidden by Airbnb) on and on......... Cleaning Fees are paid up front along with your reservations fees. Parking -- please park in front of my home, just in front of my car or behind my truck. U can also park in front of 3030 because no one lives there. Be fully robed/dressed in common areas. No towel only. Kitchen Rules(due to COVID, kitchen is unavail) a.White Refrigerator is designated for guests. (feel free to ask me (Website hidden by Airbnb) about these arrangements.) b.Oven Pls use the small oven only, do not use the large oven. c.Supplies Pls bring your supplies, ie, spices, food, water, etc.. (The host will supply cooking supplies, ie… pots, pans, utencils.) Trash Take ur trash out to the trash can at the front pavement. Do not put trash in the kitchen trash can. Remove trash fr ur room as you exit daily. -Green for trash -Blue for recycling Booking Fees: There is a same day booking fee, $50. There is a next day booking fee, $25. Check in time is between 8:01 am - 3pm, if you ck in after 3pm there is a $50 fee. Check in after midnight to 8am, there is a $100 fee. Check out time is before 3pm. Additional booking fees: Space is avail for up to 2 people. The 2nd person cost is an additional $20 per night. General rules Never make permanent improvements in this home, (Website hidden by Airbnb) ur bedroom or else. ie….changing locks, hanging pictures, (Website hidden by Airbnb) putting holes in the walls to hang a rack. If u are visiting for longer than a week there are extra supplies in ur dresser bottom drawer such as sheets, pillowcases, blankets etc…. Laundry Rules: Use nearby laundry, there are 2 within 1 mile. There are laundry supplies for sale. Be respectful of the environment, turn lights and appliances off. Be mindful and be aware of surroundings this is a calm neighborhood, but we are nestled in the city. My neighbor across from me is a police officer, our neighborhood mechanic lives across from me, our highly esteemed senior(who we all look out for) lives 4 doors down from me, my other neighbors are literally lawyers and Indian chiefs, we all wave to one another as we pass by, However this is city living so keep your eyes open and otherwise enjoy DC.
