Among the nature of Tzununa (casa Byron)

Our house is a family space, we are descendants of Kiche Maya people and it is a family effort. All materials come from the high mountains of Utatlan and designed to live with our mother earth and nature. The house, with its larges balconies, overlooks the lake and volcanoes for an immersive view. Also, with all of its windows, will extend up to 180 the gorgeous view from the inside and give you all the natural light that you need throughout the day. It is easily accessible from the main road and not far from a public beach. The space is beautiful, cozy and safe, ready to fulfill all your needs, perfect for short-term or long-term occupants, adventurers, families or workers. Tzununa is a small and peaceful little town. There are possible activities, like yoga or hiking to the famous waterfall and the cave that lies behind it, visiting local organic farms and permaculture sites or simply enjoying the weather on the near beach. There are few restaurants too: Lomas de Tzununa, Maya Moon, Bambu, The Hummingbird & local food restaurant at center of town. But mostly, it is a good central point on the lake to visit other near towns, like San-Marcos or Santa-Cruz, which have a lot of potential activities. You can enter the village through the inter-American route CA-1, at the deviation of kilometer 148 located in Santa Lucia Utatlán, bound for San Pedro la Laguna, and being on this route you reach San Pablo la Laguna, where the route leading to San Marcos la Laguna and Tzununá is taken, in the village the route ends. It is also possible to enter the village by lake, taking boats from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., in panajachel from the Tzanjuyu pier, the route is more or less than 6 kilometers and it takes approximately 30 minutes to do it, the boats return to panajachel end of the circle at 5:30 pm.
