Calypso Villa is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house featuring large interiors and spacious outdoor decks and patios. Perfectly situated on a multi-acre gated-property Calypso Villa offers our guests a beautiful and private setting with panoramic ocean views. Calypso Villa is located in an exclusive residential area in the Valley, Virgin Gorda and is a 150-yard walk to Crook's Bay beach. The villa is ideally located less than 5 minutes drive from a dozen restaurants, the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, the Virgin Gorda airport, all of the island's grocery stores and half-dozen world-class beaches including The Baths, Devils Bay, Spring Bay and Valley Trunk. Calypso’s location is ideal for enjoying the very best of Virgin Gorda. Calypso Villa was designed and situated to take advantage of the prevailing trade winds and to maximize the expansive views of the Caribbean sea. This thoughtful design provides numerous shady porches where guests can escape the midday heat. Alternatively, the pool deck is the ideal spot for fun in the sun. Calypso Villa’s living space is divided into two pavilions. Housed in the first pavilion is the villa’s great room. This expansive space with soaring cathedral ceilings includes the villa’s kitchen, living room, and dining room. The villa's great room features expansive walls of collapsible glass doors that maximize the views and allow for the very best in Caribbean indoor-outdoor living. Calypso villa has a fully equipped chef's kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The house also has a Weber bbq and a charcoal grill. There are three options for dining including an indoor dining table with service for 8, a teak table, on the pool deck, with service for 8, and a smaller teak table, with service for 4, on the covered porch. The villa’s second pavilion houses three spacious bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, a private outdoor shower, a private sitting porch, cable tv, air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a ceiling fan. Down a ½ flight of stairs and directly below the master bedroom are two additional bedrooms connected by a short interior hallway. The first bedroom on this level features a king sized bed, a private outdoor shower, a private sitting porch, cable tv, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The second guest bedroom features two queen sized beds and a foldaway cot. This bedroom can sleep two adults or up to four children and gives our guests lots of flexibility on sleeping arrangements. Like the other bedrooms, this one is equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and cable tv. Calypso Villa is surrounded by lush gardens filled with flowers and tropical vegetation. The property contains numerous fruit trees including Lime, Mango and Papaya. Additional amenities include beach chairs, yoga mats, board games, video games, a movie library, books, and bathrobes.
