The Lucky Penny

Welcome to the Lucky Penny, my island paradise getaway. This completely remodeled 5,000 sq foot three-level home is just 50 steps from the beach and provides amazing rooftop views. The design, decor and amenities have all been chosen to provide comfort and an unparalleled vacation experience. It's my home when not rented, so every detail has been thought out to make it a relaxing place. The house is centrally located in the Ocean Park neighborhood, just minutes to Condado, Isla Verde, and Old San Juan. You will be renting the entire three story home which includes 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a dining table to seat 12, fully equipped chef's kitchen, multiple seating areas, and 2nd/3rd floor/rooftop deck spaces. There is also a private, year round heated pool (a rarity in PR!), as well as outdoor dining area and BBQ. The house will very comfortably accommodate 10 people, and with extra bunk beds available, up to 14. There are 5 large bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, which have either queen or king beds outfitted with memory foam mattresses, nice linens and plenty of pillows. Additionally, each bathroom is equipped with mirrors that have built-in Bluetooth speakers. Each room also has a 50" LED TV, with built in Roku, for Netflix/HBO and live streaming TV service. Wifi is high-speed fiber optic and available throughout the house. Every area and room has new inverter A/C units, and there is a full-home backup generator should there be any power issues during your stay. There is also a backup water cistern, so your stay can be trouble free as possible. The home was designed in a very modern style and is all white inside and out. All of the porcelain tiles were imported directly from Italy. The windows are tripled-pane and soundproof, which keeps it cool and quiet inside. Kitchen cabinetry was all handmade of solid teak, as well as in the bathrooms, and I have included high end European fixtures. In the kitchen is a massive island around which everyone can congregate. All furniture is either from Pottery Barn, West Elm, or has been custom made by myself. I have added a pool table to the second floor lounge for your enjoyment. Ocean Park is perfectly located between Isla Verde and Condado/OSJ. You will have quick access to the best of both worlds (about 5-15 minutes from most attractions/restaurants), while coming back to a safe quiet residential area. The neighborhood is fully gated, and has a 24 hour rotating guard. Uber is plentiful and inexpensive in the area, so you may chose not to even rent a car. However if you do, there is a driveway with automatic gate in the front of the house. I have included most items you will need for a beach vacation: chairs, umbrella, towels and coolers. The house is fully equipped and fully furnished. If something is missing, let me know, and I will do my best to meet any requests.
