Historic Columbus Ave. Apt 2

Studio apartment in historic building on Columbus Ave. Located next door to the classically designed Bay City Central HS, 7-11, and 3 blocks from McLaren hospital. Dow Corporate Uptown campus is about 1 mile west on Columbus. Upstairs studio style apartment in a mixed use commercial/multi family building. A bit on the smaller side (375 sf or so), but with a separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room, its layout is cozy and comfortable. There’s a porch facing the high school that guests are welcome to use, which is a nice place for a morning coffee and watching the sunrise or having a cold drink on a warm summer day! We do stay in one of the apartments in the building so we might run into each other and say “Hi!”. Generally though, guests maintain complete privacy as the space is designed for that. Walking distance to Nino’s, Grampa Tony’s, and D’Angelo’s Italian dining establishments (Roma’s a short drive). Stumbling distance to “Bell Bar” local watering hole. 7-11 next door for morning coffee and Slurpee cravings! If you love to play tennis, there are brand new courts within a few blocks. There is a running track available for use at the high school next door. Great outdoor flea market about a mile west on Columbus during weekends & holidays. Bay City is mainly a drivable city with grid style city streets typical of the midwest. The downtown is very cute with shops and restaurants close to the Saginaw River. Also there is a paved rail trail for cycling and jogging encircling the whole town, running along the river and out to Lake Huron via the state park. A trail head entry point lies less than a mile east on Columbus. There is a public bus, which guests can (Hidden by Airbnb) for information on scheduling and pick up points.
