Seaside Retreat just steps from the water. West facing with wonderful views of the sunset and passing ferries creates a perfect retreat to relax. The room has a queen bed, two comfortable chairs and a coffee table, small fridge, microwave and coffee machine, private four piece bathroom, television, in room Wi-Fi, and lovely patio with table and chairs. We also offer a free twizy charge point and have kayaks for rent off our dock. Continental breakfast available for additional charge. Great Location - Close to beaches and Hamilton City. This quiet retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We have seating on the covered porch, in our main living room, in the garden and a lovely water front with seating on the upper terrace as well as right down on the dock or out on our floating dock. The three most popular features Greenbank offers is the deep water swimming of the dock, the easy and affordable access to the Salt Kettle Ferry and the amazing views. We are happy to help guests with suggestion or directions. The main house of Greenbank is 250 years old. The old cedar beams were originally form the old cedar sailing ships that used to ply their trade between the Caribbean, Europe and North America. There is a story that one of the cottages on the premises was the overseer's office during the time that salt raking was a prominent business in Bermuda. Salt Kettle Road was named accordingly Greenbank is centrally located and is situated on the western shore of Salt Kettle Peninsula, just across the harbour from the City of Hamilton. Newstead Hotel is just a ten minute walk offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a tennis court at $15 an hour. The Salt Kettle Ferry is just two houses down and is a beautiful way to commute into Hamilton City where most of our shops and restaurants are located. You can also connect at the main ferry terminal to catch a ferry to both Dockyard and St. Georges. We are just a 10 minute walk from the bus stop off Manse Road on Middle Road. Greenbank is a great spot to just unwind and relax. We also offer rooms with kitchenettes and full kitchens. Some rooms can accommodate three guests.
