Retreat House - room for 10 people!

Part of Eileen’s Country Cottages , our cozy rustic cottage known as "The Retreat House ", awaits your arrival. Nestled in farming fields, it's within walking distance to the Confederation Trail access where you can enjoy walking or biking. A short drive from incredible beaches including Greenwich National Park, Lakeside beach, golf, fresh seafood, and more. Ideal spot for 1 or 2 on a getaway or a family vacation. Master bedroom on main floor with two large bedrooms upstairs - sleeps 10. This cottage has a 3 star Canada Select rating and is licensed with the Province of PEI Lic# (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It is ideally located - A five minute drive west to the Morell area takes you to kayak, canoe and bike rentals, grocery shopping, restaurants, world class golf at Links at Crowbush, horseback riding and more. A six minute drive east takes you to the picturesque village of St. Peter’s Bay with restaurants, including one featured in "You Gotta Eat Here", The Shops at St. Peters, theatre, and more. Centrally located for easy access to Charlottetown, Souris, Montague, and Georgetown, you have options for many adventures. The entire cottage is yours to use with the exception of a locked storage closet upstairs. There is one bedroom on the main floor and two others upstairs. All bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, etc is provided. You need only to bring food and clothing. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, linens, complimentary coffee and tea, etc. There is also a barbeque in the back yard with a large picnic table and several chairs and a propane fire pit in the front. The house contains a washer and dryer and there is also a clothesline if you prefer. There is a large yard which guests are welcome to use; however, there is no access to the other buildings on the property and we ask that you practice social distancing when interacting with other guests. We like to give our guests their space but are readily available via phone or text. We also spend some time on the property so are often around if needed. The Retreat House is in the country, between Morell and St. Peter's Bay and is just a short drive in each direction to beaches, restaurants, groceries, etc. The property is large with plenty of space for children to run and play and includes a barbecue and propane fire pit. It is quiet and tranquil and is a great place to relax and unwind or stargaze in the evening. If you wish to travel to Charlottetown, it is just a 25 - 30 minute drive. There is ample room for parking on the property. There is no public transportation available as we are in the country. A short drive in either direction will take you to Morell, St. Peter’s, beaches, shopping, etc. Cyclists are welcome and there are several bike racks on the property.
