This downstairs apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, a full-size kitchen and large living room space. All rooms have new paint and flooring as of May 2018. You have access to the downstairs apartment through two private entryway doors. None of the interior space is shared. Enter through one of two private doors. Enjoy the porch swing and backyard. We are happy to greet you, orient you, and help you settle in, and are available during your stay. Please indicate if you would like or need this contact. Otherwise, we live very busy lives and may not be on the premises during some of your stay. Local bus service is provided between Christiansburg and Blacksburg by Blacksburg Transit’s “BT Commuter Service,” with in-town services provided by the “Explorer” circular route and “Go Anywhere” advance on-call service. Regional bus service is provided by Valley Metro, with the Smart Way Commuter Bus linking the New River Valley with the Roanoke Valley. Although there is no airport within town limits, service is available from three surrounding airports: Roanoke - Blacksburg Regional Airport, approximately 35 minutes to the northeast; Virginia Tech-Montgomery Executive Airport in Blacksburg; and New River Valley Airport in Dublin, approximately 20 miles to the southwest. We have raised our family in this home since 1986. The neighborhood is in an optimal location for walking for leisure or exercise and to visit nearby venues. Within walking distance, you can dine at a local Italian restaurant or visit historic Cambria.
