New beautiful LAKESIDE rooms! Located just 3 km west of Smithers, in the Hamlet of Watson's Landing, at the base of Hudson Bay Mountain. Minutes from Regional Airport, downtown shopping, restaurants, breweries and local entertainment, via walking, biking or driving. Each guestroom has private entry (covid conscious), full en- suite, fridge, microwave, TV, WIFI, and lakefront /mountain views. A new full featured kitchen is available at an additional cost. Airport pick up and meals available! Refresh yourself in it's natural lakefront setting and breathe in the fresh air of the North. Listen to the Loons sing their songs, kayak or paddleboard its mountainous vistas or just relax in it's contemporary ambiance! Choose one of three new guestrooms. The Mountain Room, The Loon Room or the Murphy Room all available through Airbnb Smithers Private keypad access and entry We will be available to assist you anytime during your stay! The Lakedrop Inn is nestled in a little lakeside community called "Watson's Landing". Lake Kathlyn is a non motorized lake, and welcomes kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and crazy floats to it's shore. Take off right from the base of the LakeDrop Inn's private access way. All water toys are included in your stay. An outside firepit and sheltered deck with hammocks, allows you the privacy and solitude after a busy day on the lake. Steps away from our Regional Airport and 3 km to downtown Smithers, via walking, biking or driving. Smithers is known for it's amazing all seasons playground. During the summer months the fish are jumping and from late August to November the world famous Steelhead are biting on the Bulkley River. Hiking, Biking, and all water sports, get you pumped to be out in the great outdoors, breathing in that fresh Northern air. Smithers is known as the "Gem" of the North. In the winter months, Hudson Bay Mountain alpine ski area is noted for it's champagne powder, no line-ups and great daily pricing. Our Nordic center has groomed trails, that meander the mountainside, and lit trails for your evening outings. Ski, Skate, Snowshoe or even Icefish right out the Lakedrop Inn's doorstep. It's all here - waiting for your arrival!
