Step into one of the cutest, coziest, homiest little cabins you could find! From the time you walk through the door you will be enveloped in a sense of home. The space may be small, but windows on every wall, the peaked ceiling, and the relaxing minty and gray color scheme inspire the feeling of openness! Perfectly located in the middle of the alluring Texas Hill Country, you'll be ready for any adventure when you discover the cabin that will become the sweetest spot in your travels! This cabin is definitely little and cozy! While this is a small space, it boasts a full bathroom and main room (with the bed and hotel-style appliances). The light walls are both enlarging and calming, while the dark trim poses a contrast that is not often seen. The bathroom was made with as much space, comfort, and eye-appeal as possible! Our whole goal with this space was to make it homey and relaxing. We wanted it to be the perfect home base for a good night's sleep after a day of exploration and adventure! Your home-away-from-home is all yours for the duration of your stay! You can also enjoy the fenced yard without worrying about cow plops. You are also welcome to walk around in the pasture and down by the old creek bed, as long as you promise to watch out for cow pies and creepy crawlies! The cows are inquisitive and friendly, but currently they're not huge fans of handouts or pats. There is a small BBQ grill that you may use, should you like. You will have to provide the grilling supplies and manpower, we will give you tools/pans/eating utensils! Just let us know if you would like to use it! We have plenty of open space for a fire, and quite a bit of wood around (we are blessed with many trees that enjoy dropping limbs on occasion). There is nothing quite like the ambiance of a camp fire, and we encourage the making of such! The other homes and workshops next door, located on the same property, belong to our family and are the only inaccessible spot! We are usually nearby in some capacity, should you need assistance of any sort. We'll say hello if we see you, however, we promise to not bug you! We do have a very outgoing 4-yr-old who LOVES chatting with any guest, just in case you happen to meet him! If you are looking for quiet, dark skies, open areas, and the country life, you've found the right place! We live a little over five miles from Llano proper, but the atmosphere and feel is much more rural. We do have one set of semi-close neighbors, but the rest of the area is pasture land! We are on a few acres, so there is plenty of room to stretch out and unwind! The stars at night are big and bright... sorry, had to! They're definitely plentiful and we do not have lights around to drown them out, which makes the night sky utterly gorgeous out here. Our cabin is very close to many great outdoor adventure areas! We are within 20 miles of Colorado Bend State Park, Longhorn Caverns, and Inks Lake. We are about 45 minutes from Enchanted Rock. So if you are looking for an outdoor experience, we have plenty within easy driving distances! There are also many unique wineries and Vineyards in the area. The majority of them are closer to Fredericksburg, however, we are about 20 minutes from the Fall Creek Vineyards in Tow. Wedding Oak Wineries is located up in San Saba, TX, which is a little over a half hour northwest of us. We do not have access to WiFi, and many cell services are very spotty in our general area, so we are not able to offer a spot to hang out and work. But if you are needing a work environment with a great atmosphere, Llano's local coffee shop is the place to go! We want your stay to be the most pleasant possible, whether it is rest and relaxation or excitement and adventure! We are really only accessible by vehicle. I am not certain if there are any taxi or uber services in our area either, but I would happily check if necessary. We have free-range chickens and roosters. Roosters crow at all hours, and there is chicken poo everywhere. Neither is a happy thing, even for us, but we can't keep them from being themselves. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times. This is for the safety of all animals involved. Kids are always welcome!!!! Please give me warning, and I'll make sure we have sleeping spots for them! There is only the one queen bed, and we also have a twin air mattress. There is space for another air mattress if needed.
