Scheduled buses run from the main road 5 minutes walk away taking you to major North Coast tourist attractions such as the local Rio Nuevo Battlefield Museum, Rio Nuevo Public Beach; further down the A3 North Coast Highway is the White River Rafting attractions (Rafting and Tubing), Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountain's Natural Rainforest, (famous for its Zip Wire over the natural canopy of the rain forest and Bob Sledge Ride), Dolphin Cove (where you can swim with Dolphins), Blue Hole with its own waterfall and blue lagoon in which to dive and Chukka Cove Adventure, offering, horse riding, rafting and other activities as a package deal. Further afield along the North Coast is Discovery Bay, Runaway Bay, Falmouth and Montego Bay (about 1.5 hrs away) with their own natural attractions. There are lots of other local gems not on the tourist map such as Mad River with its fresh spring water and falls, dammed to create a cool refreshing swimming pool but time is of an essence on a short stay holiday, so leave it for your next trip.
