There are residents living in other apartments in the building, all friendly and quiet. The building is over 100 years old so it's not modern or fancy, just simple and comfortable if that's what you're looking for. This is a standard 1 bedroom apartment in a building with other renters. You have access to the entire apartment. The residents living in the building are all quiet and friendly. The kitchen is equipped with all the tools to make meals and more. There is a full bathroom with a claw foot bathtub and a bedroom with a cozy queen bed. As you can see from the photos, there is no dining table, most people just use the coffee table or desk in the living room or the TV trays next to the book shelf. The yard and porch are common areas so feel free to enjoy them. There is no cable or broadcast TV so we provide WIFI and a Roku to access your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. If you don't have an account, just let us know and we will log into ours for short term stays. We're not trying to be modern or fancy, just a simple and cozy spot with pretty much all the amenities you will need so if you're looking for something upscale, maybe try one of the nice cottages on the lake or the Thurston Terrace apartment downtown Jamestown. Guests have access to the entire apartment. You share the entrance hallway with the residents living in the building as well as the porch and yard, but feel free to enjoy the furnished front porch and large yard. It is street parking only, but it is free. We alternate sidesof the street monthly from April-Sept 31. We alternate sides of the street daily from October-March 31. Feel free to relax and enjoy your stay, we live nearby in case you need anything at all or want suggestions on things to do. You can contact us anytime via Air Bnb or a cell. We accommodate accordingly to each individual guest so if you want your own space, no problem. We will also gladly stop by to socialize and tell you more about the area if you are interested. Residential neighborhood mixed homes and apartments. Close to Daughters of the Revolution Manor and the Fenton History museum. Approximately 5 blocks from downtown Jamestown and Lucy Desi Museum. Close Drive to Southern Tier Brewery, Chautauqua lake, Peek n Peak, Holiday Valley and Cockaigne ski resorts, Allegheny State Park, and much more. We are walking distance from downtown Jamestown and a short car ride away from other destinations such as Chautauqua Institution, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Bemus Point, Allegany State Park and more! This building is over 100 years old, so no, it's not the Ritz, it needs some exterior updates and the inside of the apartment is not modern or fancy, but if you're looking for a simple, clean and cozy fully furnished apartment with most of the amenities you will need, then the Cheby Manor is your place to stay. If you need anything during your stay, please just ask! We try not to disturb guests during their stay, but are readily available if you need any assistance. Also, if you're staying with multiple people, notice from the photos that there is no door on the bedroom. If you are bringing your pet with you only for a night or two, please add them as an extra guest at the time you make your reservation (it's cheaper than the air bnb standard pet fee). So if you are just one person and bringing your dog, please book for 3 guests and notify us in a message that it will be you and your dog staying. Instead of a deposit, a third or fourth guest just adds a few extra dollars to cover the extra time needed to clean up pet hair and such. If your pet likes to lay on the couches and sleep in the bed with you, please bring a blanket to lay over our bedding and furniture. If your cat likes to sit in the window, please be aware there will be an additional fee for blind replacement and labor if they are broken.
