The Cottage at Villa PassiFlora

The Cottage at Villa PassiFlora represents an excellent choice for individuals or couples who don’t need the space of the Villa, and it adds the option of stays of fewer than 5 nights. The cottage is on the Villa PassiFlora property, surrounded by forest, fruit trees and tropical plants, with a view through the forest to the Atlantic Ocean. Guests have ready access to the trail leading to Pointe Baptiste. Please see note below regarding Maria's impact. The Cottage at Villa PassiFlora is exceptionally spacious and airy. Steady but gentle winds flow in off the front porch, where flow is controlled by louvered windows. The design of the cottage echoes the style that has made Villa PassiFlora "one of Dominica's most exquisite accommodation options". The cottage is fully yours, offering a great base of operations for your Dominica experience. In addition to a large bedroom, there is a very spacious sitting, dining and kitchen area, which includes a very comfortable sofa bed should a child or third guest be part of your group. There is no extra charge for use of this additional bed. The air bathroom even includes a washing machine. A well-worn footpath at the edge of our property provides easy access to Pointe Baptiste beach, one of Dominica's most pleasant. Please note that the pool and other amenities of the Villa are not available to Cottage guests. Your stay will be facilitated by Isaline George, the villa housekeeper, and Sherlon George, our caretaker. We are always available via email. Villa PassiFlora is situated just outside of Calibishie, between Hodges Bay and Pointe Baptiste. It is a tranquil setting, private but not isolated, breezy but not unpleasantly windy. We are happy to share the neighborhood with POZ, probably the most popular bar & restaurant on the NE coast. It's an easy walk from the villa, but well out of earshot. Most of our guests choose to rent a vehicle to enhance there stay, but it is quite possible to utilize public transport to get around the island in a very economical fashion. Transport vehicles pass along the coast road just 3-5 minutes walk from the villa. Frequency varies in a predictable fashion during the day.
