Hidden Gem at Grapetree Cove

Hidden Gem is a Traditional Cayman Style cottage located at Grapetree Cove on a beautiful beach area in sleepy fishing village of East End. The property is filled with trees that gives it a dreamy Island ambiance. The Cottage has been fully renovated with modern amenities that makes is very comfortable and homey. Hidden Gem offers a unique CaymanKind experience from a Caymanian host that knows the area well. Located minutes away from local dinning places and many key attractions in the area. 2 Flat Screen Smart TV's are throughout the cottage in the living room and the bedroom with full access to Netflix and Cable TV. Guests have access to the entire cottage, front & back patio and beach area. The beach access will be shared with myself the host and owner of the property and from time to time for a 20 to 30 Minutes a day for a brief stop on my tours with guests. I will be available and nearby The neighborhood has friendly people all around with a library located within walking distance from the house about 200 ft. There is a fish fry about a half mile down the road call Eastern Star Fish Fry which serves the best local food in the area. 2 minutes up the road is TUKKA, Big Tree BBQ and Vivienne's Kitchen who server a great variety of foods There is a small supermarket about 5 minutes drive which is a good place to do your shopping if you need to cook. Public transportation comes across our way but may not be as reliable as in most other countries. We strongly recommend a rental vehicle because it is easy to drive in Cayman and you will be located in the rural part of Cayman. However please note that we drive on the left side and although we are a British territory our speed limits are in MPH but some of the rental cars are in KMPH which can be confusing at times for guests. There is a government fee of 13% that will be added to the nightly booking rate. All AirBnB’s in the Cayman Islands are heavily regulated by the government and is mandatory to be paid to the government. However this fee is waived for local guests who present a local ID.
