A luxury beach house sanctuary A beach house that sits right on the bay of the famous Summerville beach. A private escape from the busy; a zen space to relax and feel the ocean breeze on your skin. Its calm interior has been designed to blend with the natural colours and elements of the seaside. Luxury interior with all the comforts of home to make your stay care free. Walk the beach, relax on the expansive decks over looking the ocean or take a stroll on the trail system just a few steps away and enjoy the wilderness picking some blackberries on your way while exploring the squirrels, birds and other wildlife on the trail. Grab the binoculars and spot seals, boats, and lighthouses! Please leave the home clean for our next guests to enjoy, if dishes are not completely done please at least have them running in the dishwasher and please do a load or two of laundry if needed before you leave. The washer door needs to stay open at all times when not in use as it is a front loader. It needs to be aired out or mildew builds up. Thank you for your help in keeping our beach house enjoyable for all guests. Also please note that only the kitchen items are for use in the home. Personal effects in bedroom closets and other closets are not for use and should be respected as private spaces. My apologies but we are no longer offering to supply beach towels. Please bring your own beach towels:) I will be available by phone call or text only at all times during your stay unless I’m in an apt which I will let you know ahead of time and give you an alternate emergency contact:) Summerville Beach is a quick walk or swim away depending on the tide. You can also walk down the old railway, provincial trail behind the house and cross the trestle bridge if you are inclined. Its old but all the locals walk across:) Carters Beach as well as Kedji Seaside Park which has beautiful trails and beaches are both about a 15min drive. The Quarterdeck resort restaurant is available for lunch and dinner which is a 5min drive or walk. Seaside takeout about 10min away has the best deep fried seafood in the area! Mahone Bay and Lunnenburg are a1hr drive away. Peggys Cove and Halifax airport about 2hours away. Liverpool for groceries and supplies and restaurants such as Lanes Privateer Inn(great seafood chowder!) 15-20min drive WhitePoint Scenic Golf Course 15min away Five Girls Bakery in Liverpool has lots to offer! Great baked treats and breads as well as many other items. Locally sourced meats, cheeses, and so much more. One of my favs! You will need a car to go for groceries and to drive to excursions. However you have walking access to Summerville Provincial Beach via a short swim at low tide or a walk across an old trestle bridge at your own risk:) We do not rent to families with children under 18 years of age and we do not allow pets. Thanks for your understanding:) Our home is best suited for those wanting a quiet luxury escape by the sea. We do not allow parties of any kind and limit guests to 2 unless special requests are given so the home stays in great condition for all guests to enjoy. Thank you.
