Truly a piece of heaven most vacationers never get to experience., we are just 3 miles from the Alaska Marine Highway terminal, 7 miles from downtown Haines, and only a mile from the famous Chilkoot River, one of the most popular sites for fishing, bear viewing, and watching eagles. In the evening head to town for a wonderful dinner at one of our great local restaurants or prepare your own meal on the fire pit just outside your door. The Miner's Cabin #4 is a rustic dry cabin: there is electricity, heat, and linens but no plumbing. Bathhouse, firepit, and picnic table are shared with other guests. Bathhouse is up the hill. Wi-Fi is optional. No pets Entire property Owners live on site and are available as needed. There are guests in the campground and the other cabins. Quiet hours 10:00pm-8:00am. A car is mandatory Grizzly bears are common in the area.
