Rancho Nazdrowie is 15 minutes from the beautiful Falls of Damajagua! Set in sprawling gardens amongst majestic trees is a colorful Palm Wood house, open to the garden on every side! Wake to the sound of the birds and sleep to the hum of the Chicharras. Find the Pool for an early swim and choose a spot for a delicious breakfast in the garden! From Naz you may visit the Falls, go Zip-lining or Hiking in the hills. Our aim is to offer any help you may need to ensure you the best holiday ever!! Rancho Nazdrowie is situated 5 kms from the little market town of Imbert with its shops, eateries and Night-life. Separated by a stream from the hidden hamlet of El Puerto you will find Nazdrowie surrounded by Jungle trees and Tropical gardens where you can sip your sun-downer at the end of the day to the sounds of nature, a Donkey braying, and the strains of a distant Bachata filtering through the trees! Enjoy trips to the Beach and Marina at Luperon, and carry on to the gorgeous Beach at El Castillo de la Isabela where Columbus first settled in the New World (45mins); Diving at Punta Rucia, Cayo Arenas and the Manatee at la Ensenada (1 3/4hours) Swim with the Dolphins at Ocean World in Cofresi and visit Historical Puerto Plata (45mins). We can help with Transport, further reservations and share information gleaned over 25 years of living here at Nazdrowie! We have no cel phone connection but Messenger and other computer generated communication systems seem to cover most situations! We hope that guests will feel totally at home at Nazdrowie! They are welcome to share in events which may be planned while they are visiting and they are equally repected in a desire for tranquility. The grounds and the Pool are open to all visitors. I have a wonderful team of helpers who are there to take care of guests and make their stay more pleasurable There is WIFI available and access to TV if necessary! If you want to Paint or watch the Birds you have 10 acres of wilderness in which to do both of those things! I'm usually around in the evening either to welcome people back after a days trip and maybe help with suggestions of other activities and places to visit. People are welcome to come and chat in the kitchen or share the sun-downer in the garden. I offer dinner at 20 US per person by previous arrangement. Alcoholic drinks extra. Wine, Beer and Rum based drinks available. We will organize transport if required, advise on local entertainmant, Restaurants Seasonal activities,Carnival,for example and the North Coast Jazz Festival as well as Market day and Concerts put on by local Groups and Artists. People who come for the peace and tranquility of the countryside can also be guaranteed my fullest cooperation! The beauty of staying at Rancho Nazdrowie is that you have easy access to numerous activities, The fabulous Damajagua Falls (15 minutes), the exciting Zip-Line in Barrabas( 5 minutes away), local eateries and shopping. Historical sites, Nature trails, Diving and Snorkling. Excellent Restaurants can be found in Maimon, Puerto Plate, Santiago and Cofresi, location of Ocean World where you can swim with the Dolphins!....and, at the end of the day you come back to the warm welcome of Nazdrowie and the peace of the countryside...
