This urban chic home is recently renovated and close to all of the tourist locations you come to visit in DC. Jump in a ride share and travel: •10 minutes to National Mall and monuments. •11 minutes to the African American Museum. •17 minutes to MGM and National Harbor. After a day of seeing the sights, have a fun night playing air hockey or one of the many games. Perfect for large family vacations, girls' getaways, and business travelers. There's also free off street parking for 2 cars!!!! This 3-level end unit row house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, one on each level. It sleeps up to 16 guests (maximum number of adults is 12). First level: When you walk in the front door, you enter a sunny, warm, and inviting space, with an open floor plan. The kitchen is designed with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including coffee pot and tea kettle. You'll also find pots, pans, bakeware, spices and all the necessary dishware and utensils. The dining room table can seat up to 8 guests. The front living room is a cozy, well-lit spot with a sectional sofa from which you can enjoy the 50in smart TV for some Netflix and chill. Or have a fun game night playing air hockey or the many board games. A full bathroom rounds out the entertainment area. Just outside the kitchen door, onto the back porch there is a large grill. Basement level: As you walk down the steps, you'll run into a quaint office space equipped with a desk and chair. Around the corner there is a reading nook with a bench before you reach the sleeping and entertainment area. There are 3 bunk beds with a single bed on top and a full-size futon on the bottom. Also a 50in smart TV is on this level. This area is perfect for travelling with a large group of children. A full bathroom with kid's bath toys is also on this floor. Top level: Up a staircase from the first floor is where you'll find three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a bunkbed with 2 single beds. The second bedroom has two double beds with comfy pillow top mattresses. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a leather sofa with ottoman, and a 50in smart TV on a swivel mount so you can view it from either lounging area. Another full bathroom rounds out the top level. No sofa beds or air mattresses! Pack and play and high chair available upon request. If you've ever been to DC you know how parking is a premium. No worries about zone parking, time restrictions, and parking tickets, there is free off-street parking for 2/3 cars, depending on size. Feel free to use all areas of the home! I've lived in the DC area for over 20 years and since I'm in close proximity to the house I'm available for calls, texts, or emails with any questions or issues that arise to make sure you have a super stay. Your comfortability is my top priority! Anacostia is a great urban up and coming neighborhood in Washington, DC. Being in Anacostia you have easy access to all of the sight seeing areas by a quick transit ride or Uber. You can bypass the tourist traps and experience the local vibe & cultural immersion in a diverse neighborhood with an affordable stay. Anacostia is currently undergoing an exciting transition. One of DC's hippest restaurants, Busboys and Poets, just opened a location in Anacostia and my favorite Thai place is one block away! The closest Metro Station is Potomac Avenue station. It is a 5 min Uber ride, 7 min bus ride, or 17 min walk from the home. A government issued ID submitted to Airbnb is required for booking.
