Our farm is featured in the October 2020 issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine. Check it out! We completely remodeled our 1968 Airstream's interior with modern, sleek touches like stainless steel countertops, a cork-lined ceiling, and glass tiles in the indoor 1/2 bathroom. Set in a meadow surrounded by old walnut trees, the Airstream is extremely private and its large front deck is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the neighboring vineyard. The Airstream is equipped with an outside compostable toilet, shower and sink. Inside, there is a half-bathroom with a small sit-tub and sink. The simple inside kitchen includes a mini-fridge, a sink, coffee-making supplies, toaster oven and a microwave (there is no hot plate inside). Outside on the deck, there is a Fuego BBQ gas grill, dining table and chairs, sectional sofa and chaise lounges. There is not a strong-reliable wifi connection inside the Airstream, so come looking to unhook from daily life. We are the largest growers of saffron in the USA - farm tours are available! You can see lots of photos of the farm on our website: peace plenty (Website hidden by Airbnb) We welcome visits to the farm itself and are happy to arrange that with you in advance. Other things to note This is a working farm, so there may be agricultural-based activity and noises while you are here. We are mindful not to make noise before 8am and after 9pm. If you really want to sleep till noon, let us know and we can see what we can do! The cleaning is completed by a professional trained in Covid safety protocols and using approved cleaning and disinfecting products. There are several wineries within a short drive of the farm, a lovely State park just down the road, Mt Konocti volcano with gorgeous hikes within 10-15 drive, and some great dining options in Kelseyville and Lakeport. As well as the lake itself, there is a reservoir that is good for swimming (and blackberry picking in the summer) we can direct you to, and the Blue Lakes, about 25 minutes north that are clean and lovely. Hopland is about a 25-30 minute drive away. We see quite a few bicyclists along Soda Bay Road, but have not tried any routes ourselves (too busy farming!). It is an approximately 200 feet walk from the parking spot down to the airstream. We supply a wagon for toting belongings and can also transport luggage to the airstream during non-Covid times.
