Direct Bus connection from downtown New Paltz to Port Authority, NYC in only 90 minutes. Our house is located between Downtown New Paltz and approximately a 5 minute drive to beautiful places like: Minnewaska State park, The Mohonk preserve, Mohonk Mountain house etc. Swim in the lakes, visit the rivers and waterfalls. Only 30 minute drive to Poughkeepsie Train Station where you can take a beautiful scenic train ride along the Hudson River into NYC. Multiple local taxi services available. First Aid Kit: Laundry room. Middle drawer between the washer and dryer. Poison Ivy: There is poison ivy on the sides of the lawn, in the high grass and around trees. Please be careful. There is poison ivy scrub and lotion available in the laundry room in the middle drawer between washer and dryer next to the first aid kit. Ticks: (orange) Tick remover is in the first aid kit. Please check yourself and your loved ones after being in the yard or after a hike. Power Outage: You find emergency flashlight in downstairs hall way and laundry room. Fill bath tub with some water for toilet flushing. Please text caretaker between 8am - 8pm Upstairs bedroom (above downstairs bathroom): Please do not vacuum and have AC on at the same time.
