Casa Quinta Mar is a beautiful country house, with big gardens and a pool. We are in Santa María del Tule, where the millenary tree of Tule is located, which is visited every year by thousands of tourists. Less than 20 min by car from Oaxaca's downtown, it is an amazing oportunity to enjoy country life, walking and cycling routes, visiting the town, and having an amazing experience staying with us. Casa Quinta Mar is a remodelled house, details were selected for a special and comfortable vacation. You will be inmersed with beautiful handcraft pieces and textiles, a part of Oaxaca's authenticity. This listing is for the Ground Floor, where we can host up to 10 guests. If you require more space, look for our full house ad, which can accommodate up to 14 guests: "Casa Quinta Mar + Loft, Casa de campo en el Tule." We have fiber optic internet of 150 MB speed, as well as adequate spaces for you to work remotely with comfort. Our house is merged with nature, allowing you to disconnect from the city life and enjoy Oaxaca's wonderful land. We are located in the middle of the mezcal route, from here, you will be able to visit main touristic sites like: Tlacochahuaya, Teotitlán del Valle, Tlacolula's Market, archaeological sites of Yagul and Mitla, as well as several mezcal proucers along the route that leads to the incredible petrified cascades of Hierve el Agua. You will be able to use everything in the house, including pool, gardens, voleyball/basketball court, bbq palapa, etc. Upstairs Loft access is restricted, if you want to rent it too (it is an extra bedroom with an amazing view) send us a message! There is an area (with a fence) at the end of the garden, our pets live there, so access is prohibited. We will be there for you at any time if you need us, always giving you privicy. Pool and gardens need maintenance, we will inform you if and when people will go during your stay. You will recieve a catalog of services that will make your stay easier and more comfortable (food, taxi, tours and activities will be recommended). We love taking walks by the town at sunset, being in the country side, the mountains from Oaxaca's valley will surround anywhere you go. You will encounter beautifull trees and vegetation throughout the town, and meeting the amazing people from the comunity will be a rewarding experience. You can't miss guided visits to the tree of Tule as well as visiting the surrounding gardens. For eating we recommend a delicious restaurant called "El Milenario", the local market and lots of options nearby. Local crafts market has a good selection of crafts ranging from textiles, ceramics, toys, and other beautiful things. Located just 10 km from downtown Oaxaca, driving by car will take you 15-20 min. Car From Oaxaca City take the highway towards Santa María del Tule. Taxi You can take it from anywhere in the city. Average cost should be arround $150 pesos from downtown. Taxis If you tell us with anticipation we can arrange a personal taxi to take you many places in the city. We have some bikes in the house for you to move around the town and nearby places. Many people form Oaxaca go to Santa María del Tule surrounding to walk, hike or cycle as an excersice, so if you like cycling or walking this is great for you! We will tell you about some great destinations you can visit like nearby towns or beautiful natural places.
