The Cottage

The Cottage is a beloved Old Forge landmark. Remodeled in 2018, this charming house provides the perfect Adirondack getaway. Located on a quiet corner of the Old Forge lakefront, it is within walking distance of downtown and area attractions. Two mountain bikes and two kayaks are also provided for guest use We are available for Spring, Summer and Fall reservations. We are directly across from Old Forge lakefront and a short walk from Main Street, Old Forge. A perfect central location to enjoy everything Old Forge has to offer, park your car, relax looking at the lake and have no worries. We are located right on the TOBIE trail. Perfect for biking, walking etc. Keep your boat at the public dock across the street. Need a boat??--it is only a few steps to the local marina where you can rent one! If you like to park your car and relax, this is the place for you! Located on the town’s back street, you can easily walk to downtown and area attractions.
