1,200 sq ft "Yooper" Penthouse. Magnificent water views and access via exclusive dedicated guest dock across the street. Kayak. Relax on dock. Public launch within 1 mile for boating or fishing. Mortorcycle or ATV area trails. 1 hr to Macinac Island Ferry, SS Marie- Lockes, brewpubs, 1/2 hr to Cedarville Antique Boat Show. BBQ while enoying music from entertainment system featuring ALEXA. Shoot pool. Bonfire at night at your own firepit with complimentary firewood. REPEAT until satiated. The space Enjoy the best of modern comforts with, Firepit and BBQ grill at your disposal. Entire 2nd floor, about 1600 square ft, with greatroom, kitchen area with Island, entertainment area, bedroom and bathroom all exclusively yours. The 2nd floor is above the owners car/boat/toy garage, overlooking the water, with guest dock across the street. Bedroom- 2 full beds, dresser, night stands with phone charging ports, TV and ALEXA for your convenience. Electric baseboard heat, (usually unnecessary in summer). Greatroom 1 full Murphy Bed, 1 full futon, 1 couch. Bathroom- Toilet, shower, sink, wall cabinet, water view window over sink, and sit down vanity, accessible from bedroom and greatroom. Kitchen- Vented built in Island Cooktop, microwave, roaster, full refrigerator, small refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee pot, coffee, carafe (carry to dock), dinner ware and cooking utensils. ( frypans, pots cast iron ceramic mix). Entertainment Area- Bigscreen TV 55"? and Stereo Sytem. Smart TV, Netflicks and Alexa. FIREPIT with complimentary wood, also propane BBQ, immediately adjacent to French Door Entryway, allowing stereo listening enjoyment from entertainment center at bonfire, and while grilling. PELLET STOVE corner with accompanying benches, couch and Lazyboy for body toasting and other indoor fireside pleasure. POOL TABLE. In summer,( Memorial Day through Labor Day) enjoy your dedicated dock for views, coffee, refreshments, music, drinks, relaxing, sunning, and kayaking. Water shoes a must to wade due to rocks, wetsuit makes it enjoyable, when otherwise too cool. Use as basecamp to explore multiple attractions within an hours time. Motorcycle/ATV?- Enjoy several trails in area, and take ferry to Drummond Island. Fish?- Salmon -Atlantics start May end by July. Good Lake Trout in Lake Huron. Kings rebounding. Whitefish/ herring usually start beginning July 2-3 weeks with Mayfly hatch. Walleye, pike , musky, bass as you want to pursue. Launch from nearby boat launch, (guest dock not suitable for tieng off boats, large wakes and waves , boarding can be impractical due to elevated dock height, 1-2 feet, to clear waves), public launch area has nightly boat and trailer parking, currently free and $5 daily overflow when full. Transient slips available at Marina. Enjoy bonfires at night. Unparrelled amenities and accomodations at a bargain price for the maximum 6 guests at a time. Area exclusive for guests, not shared with any other bookings. Guest access From Sims St, enter gravel horseshoe drive Northside, uphill to hill top with French Door entryway. Park on North side of horseshoe drive, adjacent parking spot or top. South side is shared easement with neighbor to be left open for access. Rental left open for entry, key left for guests use. Contact and Entertainment system sheets waiting your arrival. Dock across street down guest staircase to waterfront.(Memorial- Labor Days). BOAT, TRAILER PARKING. Horseshoe drive turn too tight at top for most boats or trailers currently. Winter conditions may be challenging due to snow ice on hill. Check in advance for parking options expected at booking time if you will be trailering. Other things to note Bring water shoes if you want to wade or swim. Water site is on rocky point. Wet suit to enjoy water when otherwise too cool. Shorebox with life preservers , matts and cooler at dock provided. Kayak rentals available on site. YOU TUBE TV, NETFLIX and ALEXA currently. In town two bars, each serve food, pizzeria, grocery store, gas station, post office, hardware lumberyard. Cozy up to pellet stove after color tour or snowmobiling. Snowmobilers check trail conditions in advance and parking availability by texting me for any trailers given size and conditions
