Welcome to The Estuary Retreat! located in the North side of Ingonish Harbour. Just a 2-minute drive from all amenities and a 5-minute drive to Keltic Lodge, Cape Smokey and Ingonish Beach. The lower unit is completely separate from the upstairs with its own private entrance. This unit is spacious and perfect for more quiet activities like morning yoga but can also be a more social space for small groups and families. Note for winter months: accessible only with 4X4 or AWD vehicles only. The property has a beautiful waterfront that you have access to. There is a staircase that goes down to the shoreline. At low tide you can walk around the corner and see more natural beauty. On the left side of the yard there is a fire pit with wood underneath the deck you can use if you would like to have a fire. Please be responsible and keep the fire within the rocks. Make sure you also put out the fire with water after use. During the summer months, be mindful of the burn ban and stay safe. In the summer months there is also a herb garden you are welcome to use at anytime. Welcome! We are so happy you have chosen the Oceanside Retreat Space. I am a laid back person who lives on the property. I mostly keep to myself and give the guests space to enjoy to property on their own. You may see me in the driveway or at the fire pit from time to time. I’m also happy to connect in person and answer your questions about the area. Please use the air bnb app if you would like to connect or have any questions or concerns. We are surrounded by the Cabot Trail National Park so you will find many hikes/trails in the area. Do keep in mind that in the winter months our driveway is only accessible with those who have 4x4 or all-wheel drive. When parking please use the gravel extension next to the shed. Please do not block in any vehicles that are already parked there. The driveway can fit 4 cars successfully when parked with intention.
