Our home & little piece of artistic heaven is located just 3 km from Inverness, Cabot Golf, a 3 km sandy beach & 30 sec walk from my gallery. Your cozy guest suite includes a living room, kitchenette, bathroom & bedroom located on the top floor of our home with your own private entrance. It is completely separated from our living space. Your 1 bedroom guest suite includes a cozy comfortable, well appointed sitting area with a TV (Netflix/streaming), a three piece bathroom (shower), a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and balcony with comfortable seating. Your suite also includes a cozy kitchen area with a sink, mini fridge with freezer, hot plate, microwave, toaster, coffee/tea machine, dishes, pans, blender and access to an outdoor barbecue. We have a twin 5 inch foam floor mattress suitable for a toddler or young person available upon request. There is an outdoor stair case to your unit as it is on the top floor, which may not be suitable for children or persons with mobility restrictions. The entrance to your space is key entry. A fire pit is on-site (fire restrictions may periodically restrict use of) that can be made available for those nights you just want to relax. Romantic, tranquil, peaceful best describes our location. Shared spaces include our outdoor sculpture garden and property. Owners and their cat live in the house but space is fully separate from the your loft\suite. We are nestled in the woods with panoramic views of the Northumberland Strait (ocean). Our location is peaceful, energizing and a perfect place to get in touch with yourself, each other, and nature yet still close to the action. Inverness is home to fabulous shops such as Quincy, several fine restaurants such as those found on the Cabot Links property, Route 19 Brewery, The Annex and the The Reel Pizza. The Glenora Distillery is a short 10 minute drive. Inverness has a lovely boardwalk along a three mile white sandy beach with some of the warmest water to enjoy well into late September. The world renowned Cabot Cliffs Golf Course is approximately 2 km from our home and the Links is 3 km. We can accommodate golf club storage during your stay! Our property is located just behind the Village of Inverness (about 3 km). We are located 2 km (dirt road) from the main paved road. Feel free to bring your bikes as we are a short bike ride to the Trans Canada Trail. Hiking is all around us. You will travel 2 km on a dirt road to reach our location. We are easy to find just follow the Doug Fraser Art Gallery signs! During the day you will share this outdoor garden space with other visitors to my art Gallery and those who have arranged a guided tour of the Sculpture garden. As noted above this location is serene. We do encourage use of the sculpture garden and property. it is a great place for yoga, mediation or simply to stroll.
