Cottage by the Waterfall

This is a unique single room cottage with high beamed ceilings, next to a waterfall and a fire pit. This is the guest cottage in back of the cottage in the woods. Toilet and shower, kitchen area, with stove, fridge and sink.Sleeps four, but we could make arrangements for as many as eight. A private one mile creek walk, starts outside, by the fire pit. This is a unique out-of-the-box living space. In 1952, it was called The Blockhouse, and was built for holding farm tools. Today, it is one large space with high beamed ceilings, privacy, and all the amenities one would need. There is a waterfall, which makes a soothing sound outside the cottage. There is also a fire pit for use with this cottage. Valley Falls State Park and Tygart Lake State Park are both nearby. Walmart is 3 miles from the dwelling. A mile long private creek trickles in the valley behind the house. Total privacy in the space I live in the cottage in the woods, near the guest cottage by the waterfall. I like to interact with my guests, however I understand and honor complete privacy as well. I leave the extent of interaction up to the guests. Please read the reviews, and you will know that this place is a safe haven for women traveling alone. All guests are treated with dignity and respect. The cottage holds up to eight people, so bring friends and party on. The cottage is on a 2 mile country Road with seven or eight houses on the road. It is secluded, and surrounded with bird sounds, Screech and Hoot Owls, Crickets, Frogs, and Katy-duds. They create beautiful sounds at night. You will need a car or a bicycle, or transportation. There are so many things to see and do around this area. One can hike the 1 mile creek behind the cottage which may be one of the best hikes in the country. Tugart lake state park is nearby, with an upscale waterpark and boating recreation. Valley Falls State Park is 2 miles awayThe international Mother’s Day shrine is here in Grafton.
