GREEN GABLES Captain`s Cabin

This forgotten gem we bought in 2019. It was built 157 years ago by an old hand boat builder. The inside and outside are loaded with character and charm. 2020 we opened the GREEN GABLES guesthouse with two separate unique apartments for guests on the second floor. A stone's throw away from Peggy's Cove, this location is perfect to explore the Cove, the Lighthouse Route, the town of Halifax or enjoy a nice sunset on the spacious deck with a wonderful ocean view surrounded by nature. The Captain's Cabin Apartment is located on the 2nd floor and is a very spacious apartment. It has a living room including a dining area and a kitchenette, a bedroom with ensuite-bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a double sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster and all the necessary things you need in a kitchenette. We are a German couple and we live on the first floor. The unit is located on the second floor in the house and has its own lockable apartment entrance door. In walking distance you can find two fantastic restaurants.
