Romantic Cabin in the Woods

Escape and rejuvenate at our charming little cabin, nestled in the woods yet only a 10 minute ride to Woodstock and Phoenicia. This is an ideal romantic getaway or the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Relax at the hammock next to the stream or enjoy fresh coffee in the morning in one of the decks. Our small cabin comes fully equipped with vaulted ceilings, a renovated bathroom, and a gas stove for chilly days . Enjoy 3 acres of deep forest land surrounded by over 15 acres of protected land on all sides (No neighbors!) 10 minute drive to both Phoenicia and Woodstock! This is a small cabin with 380 sq ft on the inside and over 800 sq ft of outdoor space (2 decks, 1 covered porch) Open shower in the bathroom. Must use squeegee to drain leftover water. Small sink. No trash service. You may leave one large full garbage bag and recycling per stay. For longer stays, we can offer trash pickup, inquire with host. Please do not leave any recycling, trash, food or food residue on the porch or decks, it will attract bears and other animals. No smoking inside. Please use only the toilet paper provided, toilet paper must be septic friendly. Please only throw toilet paper inside the toilet, all other items must be in the trash. Cabin is surrounded by beautiful woodland with no neighbors, but it is close to the road. Best of both worlds! Safer by being close to the road, yet private with no neighbors and plenty of forest and wild life. We have great and reliable internet, a landline you are welcome to use, but you will most likely not have phone signal. Fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, dishes and more!).
