Homemade Sourdough bread or similar. Daisy (my rescue) and I live here and welcome you. A clean, shared bathroom (with me). Some kitchen privileges. A large back deck with a table with an umbrella. The bedroom: A sunny room with two windows, a 1950s teacher's desk, new Sealy Posturepedic mattress, Cherry wood, Ethen Allen vintage bed, Wamsutta 650 tpi Egyptian Cotton sheets, four new pillows and new down-like... comforter, Older iMac for DVDs or CDs. Closet space with hangers, vintage bureau, Yoga mat, and strap, LED desk light. Very-fast WiFi, GoNetSpeed fiberoptic Upon request I would be happy to take my guest on a walking tour of the neighborhood or through Yale campus. A wonderful walking neighborhood. Within two blocks: Post office, Public library, Irish Pub, French bakery/cafe (Coffee or tea sandwiches, pastries), used bookstore, dentist, fresh- soup/cupcake store, Gourmet market, gas station, municipal parking one block away. Lake Whitney.. beautiful walking area, cycling on Farmington Canal trail, Neighborhood park. Tree lined neighborhood, One block to CT Transit Line, Yale Shuttle is about a 1/2 mile from house. Cycling to New Haven 10 minutes (bike rental at Devil's Gear on Orange Street in New Haven). 6 blocks or 5 minute bike ride: Hair Salons, Italian restaurant, hardware store, Liquor store, Walgreen's Pharmacy, Pub, barber shop..... Ct. Transit Bus stop one block from house, Yale Shuttle stop nearby, walking distance to New Haven, Farmington Canal Trail for cycling further up, more stores and large shopping center (also a bus to shopping center on Dixwell Avenue. 10 minute bike ride, short bus ride or 15 min. walk to East Rock (another great neighborhood). >One adult. >No parties, meetings, or events. >No smoking inside the house. >Guests must be clothed in all common areas. >After 9:00 PM, guests must use headphones for computer or TV use. >When using a cell phone after 9 PM, I would recommend using an indoor voice level. >The kitchen must be cleaned after use. >Careful use of house kitchen equipment. >The stove is restaurant quality, (Gas: 25,000 BTUs). I recommend lowering the flame until you become familiar. >Guests may not use their computers in the common areas of the house.
