Our cozy, chic cabin is the perfect NYC getaway. A beautiful country home, tucked away in a peaceful setting. Overlooking two ponds, pool, organic vegetable/flower gardens. Located on a country dirt road 1hr 15 from Manhattan in the Hudson River Valley. The neighboring towns of Cold Spring, Peekskill, Beacon, West Point, Newburgh have great restaurants, scenic hiking, wineries, outlet shopping. BBQ, sleep in fresh air, organic bedding, bask in the sounds of nature to nourish your soul. Our friends say we live in our personal own park. The majestic ponds, is an attraction for a variety of interesting birds and wildlife. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances and each bedroom is dressed with quality linens. There are 4 true bedrooms** with double or larger beds in each and two beautiful rooms with pull-out sofa beds in each. One room has a curtain seperating it from the main part of the house and the other a door. All sleeping areas are separate from one another. Ideally a great place for 4 couples, or a family. Parties are not allowed. The indoor space has a good flow to the outdoor living areas. Grab your coffee and head outside in your bathrobe to the *hot tub, or stroll through organic vegetable garden, orchard, all while enjoying nature’s symphony of croaking frogs, calls of a beautiful variety of birds, turtles and colorful flowers. The local people walk the roads and ride horses here . There's a black Angus farm nearby. If the wind is right you can hear the cow's mooing while at the pool. It's beautiful rolling hills are breathtaking in all seasons. In the spring when the daffodils are emerging it's an artful sight and the fall foliage is brilliant. In winter and after a new snow, it's a winter wonderland. Metro North train stop from Grand Central terminal is Garrison on the Hudson line. Ubers are readily available but be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes. If one of us are around we are happy to collect you at the train. I'm available to help as much or as little as you like. As you get closer to the house expect to drive on dirt roads. People walk on these roads and you'll often see our neighbors with their dogs, or riding horses. It's a wooded area with a black Angus farm nearby. Take the driveway to the left of the #27 on the tree. Getting around is easy. A variety of farm to table food options, wine shops, butcher, shopping, restaurants are nearby. Ubers are readily available. The Hudson River line of Metro North train is just over an hour to NYC. Other Hudson river towns are great to visit by train or car. The Garrison station is under 4.5 miles from the house. And views of the Hudson are spectacular while driving to nearby neighboring towns.
