Private oceanfront dock We provide everything you'd wish for from a high-end retreat: discreet, discerning service, tailored just for you. We love meeting our guests, and are available at any time to help you make the most out of your stay. Equivalently, if you're good on your own, we're happy to accommodate that too – we’re easy. Inside the cottage, you'll find our indispensable reference guide to Bermuda containing all of our insiders' tips and secret spots, which you won't want to miss. Cow Polly is located in a safe and scenic neighbourhood in a central part of Bermuda. It's only a minute's drive away from the nearby picturesque village of Flatts, a 7 minute drive from the City of Hamilton, and a 15 minute drive to the airport. The nearest public beach is a 5 minute drive away. There’s also a smaller, secluded beach located next to Gibbet Island that is a 5 to 7 minute swim or paddleboard away. Many guests enjoy the carefree convenience of renting a scooter. Our property is also served by Bermuda's bus network. And for those who prefer cars, you’ll find a charging point in our private parking bay for your electric vehicle (we recommend the Bermi or the Twizy). So you can dream the night away while your car charges outside -- completely worry- and hassle-free. Cow Polly is a luxury retreat that is most ideal for couples. Please enquire with us should you wish to bring an additional adult guest (up to a maximum of one) or a child (up to a maximum of one) above the age of 5. Please be aware that due to our home furnishings and proximity to water, Cow Polly is not ideal for children. We charge an extra-guest fee of $150 per person, per night, and must be notified of and approve stays involving more than two guests prior to booking. For stays of seven nights or more, we offer complimentary airport transfers to and from Cow Polly in the comfort of your own private, luxury air-conditioned BMW limousine (subject to availability). COVID-19 Update: We're also proud to announce that we have been awarded the Safe Travels designation by the Bermuda Tourism Authority for implementing health and safety measures in line with the World Travel & Tourism Council's protocols. This designation allows travellers to recognise businesses around the world that have adopted global standardised health and hygiene protocols so that they can experience safe travels wherever they go. Cow Polly has always taken its cleaning protocols seriously and we're proud to be recognised for it. As a luxury rental, Cow Polly is professionally cleaned after each guest departs, and our cleaners adhere to the strictest protocols for our guests' safety. We also adhere to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocols. For example, our cleaners use hospital-grade sanitising products to thoroughly disinfect all surfaces and high contact areas. Linens and towels are washed on a longer cycle at a high temperature. All dishes and cutlery in all of our cabinets are thoroughly washed, even if they were not used during a guest's stay. Our bookings are also spaced in such a way that enables the cottage to be properly ventilated and thoroughly cleaned in between different groups of guests. We take an uncompromising stance on this, especially in light of the pandemic, in order to maintain the highest standards for Cow Polly's discerning guests.
