Unique tiny house - a quiet retreat

This modern Nomad tiny home is located 40 scenic minutes from Nelson in the Slocan Valley.We are well-situated and equipped for you to relax, adventure, or work remotely in peace. X-country ski the groomed 50km rail trail which is a short walk or ski from our property.The home is complete with a queen bed (with forest views) in the loft, well-equipped kitchen and cute bathroom. We are close to essential amenities and yet this is a quiet oasis. We are close to essential amenities and yet this is a quiet, peaceful place. Our wee forest is magical and the views of surrounding mountains from the field are gorgeous. Guests are free to explore the 5-acre property, with obvious considerations for us and other residents/guests who are enjoying the property. We welcome pets, just please let us know ahead of time so that we can prepare the space. We love animals and have a cat named Max - our tenants who live in their own tiny house on wheels have two small dogs (Ruby and Georgie). Guests are free to walk in the forest and in the field that makes up the 5-acre property. Please respect that we live on this land and be mindful of noise and proximity to our home. This is a quiet and peaceful oasis for us! We are happy to help throughout your stay. We are within walking distance to a few shops, grocery store, post office, gas station a restaurant and a few cafe's. A nine hole golf course is a short drive away (winter time is used for sledding!) and it includes a lovely little restaurant (not open in the winter of course). We are a 2 minute walk to the 50 km Slocan Rail Trail - an amazing place to hike, bike or ski. Lakes, rivers and mountains offer an abundance of adventures for everyone. The whole Slocan valley is an incredible place to take in the beauty of nature - very healing and restorative. Bus service into Nelson is a short walk from the property. We are happy to report that we do not have cell coverage in the Winlaw area, however, if you do need to use your cell phone in the home, most plans have a Wi-Fi Calling feature that you can enable. Columbia Wireless provides Wi-Fi service within the home and there is a telephone in the home for your use (local calls).
