Steps from the beach, this oceanside bungalow is the perfect spot for a couple's getaway or a couple with small children. Our studio apartment offers comforts such as: central a/c, hot water, high ceilings, super fast wi-fi (200/20), indoor and outdoor showers, Tuft & Needle king size mattress, and a pull out couch. As a bonus, be on the lookout for amazing pink sunsets! Close to dining, shopping and adventure! Located in a residential family neighborhood that fronts the ocean. Kai's Casita offers a local living experience. Please note that a maximum of two adults are allowed to stay at the casita. The bedroom is its own private space separate from the living area, and the sofa is a pullout sofa suitable for little ones. Please note the bathroom walls don’t reach the ceiling. The beach is steps away and you will hear the sound of the waves from the patio. Our beach is flanked by coral (reef shoes recommended for children). The tide-pools are perfect for kids and seashell lovers alike. Head east on your early morning beach stroll to watch amazing sunrises. Enjoy the most stunning sunsets by heading west on the shore. If you are into fitness, there is a city park with a track at the top of the hill. Just head west on the road that is parallel to the beach. After your daily visit to the beach, rinse off the salt and sand on our outdoor shower. The house is in a quiet family neighborhood mostly made up of locals. Recently some of the homes have been purchased as vacation homes by continental USA residents. This neighborhood is experiencing a re-birth and some of the properties in the area are being renovated. The houses next to our casita are not under construction so the only constant sound you should hear is the waves. There is a beautiful park with a track, kids area and lookout for whale watching. Just follow the road that is parallel to the beach towards the west. There are several fast food options nearby, as well as mainland chain stores. We recommend guests rent their own car. There is no Uber service or public transportation easily accessible in the area. The bungalow is in the back patio of the main property and is a shared amenity. Please book your stay a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Also, if your AirBnB profile does not have any reviews yet, we may ask for ID or additional information about your trip. We want to make sure we are a good fit for you and meet and exceed your expectations. Every 4th of July the neighborhood closes to through-traffic for a large celebration with live music.
