This Airbnb listing is for the a Double room with a shared bathroom facility. Shared Common kitchen, dinning room and Lounge. Open Concept Space We enjoy hosting! We offer Newfoundland roasted coffee. We are very familiar with the history of the area and attractions of Gros Morne and the Humber Valley. We have visited the park often and have a lot of suggestions and recommendations to offer. We could recommend different activities suitable to the abilities and interests of our guest. We also have experiences and agricultural tours in our community that we are going to be offering this summer. (Please ask for details) Cormack is truly a one-of-a-kind Newfoundland community! The settlement of Cormack was first established after World War II by war veterans who were funded to study agriculture with the intention to develop the Upper Humber Settlement, now known as Cormack. The war veterans were granted land, homes and various farm equipment to assist them with their agricultural growth. Currently there are ongoing projects located at the town hall which work on the continual development and creation of a Memorial Museum and Park within the community. A must see while your in town. In addition, we have a craft brewery in town. They have the best of craft beer, we think its because of the pure Cormack water, not bias, just honest! Hope you are driving, taxi services are very expensive. The cab ride from Deer Lake alone can run you $30. (It is only 10km). Highly recommend booking a rent-a-car!! and book as soon as you know your dates. We have a farm fresh Breakfast option available daily! please ask for details. A Chocolate Labrador Retriever lives on the Homestead. She is not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast but loves to soak in the sun outside around the property. We offer tours in Winter and Summer.
