Ahh! Beautiful Bermuda Cottage. ‘Lemon Drop’.

Lemon Drop is a lovely and peaceful cottage suitable for all travellers looking for a great place to have a memorable stay. Perfect for the solo vacationer and or families. There is a well furnished living room and a private queen size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The cottage is fully air-conditioned with the added benefit of ceiling fans. There is stylish decoration throughout with herringbone wood parquet floors and custom roman blinds maintaining the feeling of comfort and privacy. The bathrooms and kitchenette are tiled. The bedroom has a queen-sized wrought-iron bed with a very comfortable mattress and en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and basin. This bedroom is nicely furnished with a solid wood dresser, an armoire, chair, side tables, lamps and other storage areas. There is also a well stocked tray on top of the dresser to have tea/coffee and snacks. French doors from the bedroom lead to an enclosed grassed courtyard garden with a gas BBQ, seating with 4 very comfortable chairs and table to enjoy breakfast or an evening drink or meal. There are also many extra items including coolers. Not far from the garden and behind the cottage there is a pump room that is also used to store supplies for the guests to use. These include the outside table umbrella, chair seat cushions, beach supplies, coolers, vacuum, and cleaning products. Inside the cottage and just off the queen bedroom, there is a kitchenette with a 2 burner cooktop, Kitchen Aid counter-top oven, microwave under-counter fridge and stainless steel sink. The kitchenette is equipped with cooking pans and utensils, crockery, cutlery, toaster, electric kettle and more. Another counter top fridge has just been added for the convenience of our guests. The living room has a handsome good quality queen-size pull-out sofa-bed, 2 very comfortable arm chairs and rattan coffee and side tables. There is also a glass-top bar-height round dining table and 2 stools to enjoy your meals and beverages. Enjoy watching your favourites from the 50 inch LED TV with Netflix. In the corner of this room we have provided an extra long Single bed that adds extra comfort. Leading from the living room is the spacious main bathroom that has a tiled large walk in shower, a toilet and sink with the provision of toiletries and plenty of beach/pool/bath towels. This is also where the iron/ironing board, hair dryer and more cleaning supplies are kept. Requests can be made to provide portable beds for infants under age 2 years. There is plenty of parking spaces for mopeds and twizzy electric cars. Our registered guests have full access and use of the swimming pool that is located on the lower level of Gate House (The Main House on the 2 Acre Property) It just takes a few minutes to access the large swimming pool from Lemon Drop. This pool and surrounding area has unobstructed views of The Great Sound. All guests are welcome to borrow pool floaters and equipment for bicycling or kayaking. It is very important to return and wipe clean any equipment that is borrowed in its right place. There is an opening from the main garden on the property that leads on to the Bermudas historic Railway Trail. Great for nature walks and cycling. You also have access to our small shared beach and dock that is situated at the end of our road and at the beautiful Ely's Harbour. Awesome area for kayaking and watching stunning sunsets. Just a a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Lemon Drop has its own private enclosed garden that comes equipped with outdoor furniture, BBQ, coolers, clothes line and outdoor umbrella. We like to give our guests their space, but we are there to help if needed by (Hidden by Airbnb) , text, phone call or on Airbnb chat. It is a quiet and peaceful road with beautiful views and nature. Lemon Drop is about an 8 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. The pink posted bus stop is for buses traveling toward Hamilton and the blue posted bus stop (across the road from the pink post stop) is for buses traveling away from the main city and in this area toward Dockyard (West). The nearest grocery store is 5min away once you are on a bus or traveling by electric car or taxi. There are also lovely smaller beaches close by such as Somerset Longbay and Daniels head. These are located approximately 10 to 15 minutes away on transportation or approximately 30 to 40 minutes if walking. Fort Scaur is right next door to Lemon Drop. A must place to visit for exceptional water views, sunsets and sunrises. There is access to public transport on the main road. It is a 5 to 8 min walk from the cottage. The cottage is located at the top of a fairly steep hill which would be difficult for guests who lack mobility to walk from the bus stop back to the cottage. If guests are renting a moped or electric rental car there is available parking by the cottage. There is also 2 chargers for electric rental cars on the property. The property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to new arrivals. This includes all linens and accent assessories such as cushions. The hosts are always reachable to address concerns and requests. Ou guests who stay for more than 3 days can request a complimentary laundry service. This is available twice a week as mutually agreed. Your host will wash, dry and fold clothing, sheets and towels if needed. It is important to know that the host is not responsible for items that could get damaged due to the type of material that is not supposed to be washed in a machine.
